It's been a loooong month this January. Kicked it off in freezing Niagra falls with empty stomachs for over 24hrs, in the rain among a sea of drunk people, frozen toes and great music (Bare Naked Ladies, Kardinal Offishal). Poor wife was sick and right by my side through it all. Fun times.
We finally bought the property that has become Fotobia Studios. Wonderful news to share as we've finally opened up a studio here. Very exciting. Not so exciting was all the work we had to put in (paint, finish floors, buy furniture ect, ect). It's been a bit of a money pit but we've got a lot done in the couple of weeks we've owned it (considering my lil sis came to visit for 4 days in which no work was done). TV and internet will be in this week just in time for Super Bowl, holla! Pretty much just need to organize my desk, paperwork and equipment in the storage room and we're pretty much good to go. I know my wife is happy to have our home back. Camera equipment everywhere can be very overwhelming, who knew.
It's been a great experience and I look forward to it all being completed. I will post some photos up of the studio once everything is up and running. It looks awesome so far. Very clean, minimalist and simply awesome. What a dream workspace it is for me. It's turned out even better than I could have dreamed of. Can't wait for you all to see it. It's even got a camera museum of sorts lol.
I thought I'd post this cool photoshop video with CMY-Killer for a laugh taking us into February. Hope it's as exciting as January was.
